Black & White Painted Wooden Signs - Oak
Black and white painted oak signs are very traditional, but with the use of a modern font, their clean cut style would look very smart in any situation. They can be used as single sided house name signs or doubled sided hanging signs. You don't have to stick with black and white though - we have lots of colours. We don't suggest oak for larger signs or painted framed signs as it is a timber that is known for movement.
Painted Wooden Signs - Sapele
Sapele is a very hard, durable, and stable timber. This means less movement in the timber, making it perfect for house signs and larger painted signs. Sapele is a highly sustainable, relatively fast-growing hardwood. Painted sapele has a beautiful satin smooth finish.
Free Standing Signs
These painted free-standing signs are perfect for weddings and events. They can be used repeatedly, are very well made, and are suitable for outdoor use.
They can be made with painted hardwood and painted lettering to match your theme. The natural wood free-standing signs are made with the hardwood Iroko and can be supplied with or without plaques.
T-Channel Entrance Signs & Directional Arrows
These are simply made using aluminium composite and aluminium channel. They look very smart and are ideal for smaller entrance signs. Full-colour artwork can be used. They are laminated for longer life. Good Value.
Industrial Estate Signage
With our workshops onsite we can combine materials and skills. With this entrance sign we have a timber outer frame which can be oak or Iroko. The inner part is made from aluminium and is bolted to the timber frame. It has removable aluminium panels which can be slide in and out. These signs are ideal for an industrial estate situated in the countryside.
We can make to any size but we have listed some of our standard sizes. The timber can be varnished Oak or the hardwood Iroko which we oil using Devon Oil.
Stone Boulders
A stone boulder must be the most low-maintenance entrance sign you can have. At the moment, we have black and Celtic grey granite boulders along with Purbeck stone boulders. They both have one flat face for the lettering. They can be partly buried, fixed onto a plinth or built into a wall. Lots of fonts and colours for the lettering
Large Clear Glass Like Acrylic Signage
These contemporary signs are typically used at business entrances to provide professional and welcoming signage, offering a clean, minimalist aesthetic while effectively communicating essential business information. Suitable for modern buildings, the vinyl is applied to the reverse of the clear acrylic panel and can be frosted, translucent, solid-colour, or full-colour print. Additionally, they can be mounted with stainless steel effect or painted posts.
Stone Lawn Memorials - Standard Sizes - Good Value
Lovely stone memorial tablets made from slate or thick granite. We have slate in various thicknesses plus five different granites. The slate is a natural slate with all its beautiful markings.
These memorials are intended to be set into a lawn. If you wanted to fix to wall or other structure we would suggest using 20 mm thick stone. As always we will create a unique stone tablet to your own design.
We can also make larger memorial stones in Slate, Granite and Purbeck Stone.
Memorial Wedges - Granite & Slate
Our slate and granite plinths and wedges are great value for money. Crafted to have a sloping effect (measuring 50 mm at the front and 100 mm at the back), these pieces can be designed with engraved lettering or a mounted plaque.
If you decide on a plaque it can be crafted in Corian, Brass or Bronze, all of which pair up well with the stone plinths and wedges. Our bespoke memorial wedges are available in a variety of standard sizes.
Smaller Highly Polished Black Granite Memorials
We have a range of 10mm black granite tablets with polished tops and sides. These are ideal when the larger memorials would not be appropriate. They can be attached to a wrought iron tree stake. Sizes up to 300 x 225 mm are available.
The smallest - 100 mm round or square, can be used in combination with other materials. For example an engraved granite photo could be used in a slate or wood memorial tablet.
Good photos can be impact engraved directly into the granite.
